Student Loans, and Other Education Financing Options

When preparing for college, it's important to research all of your education financing options, such as savings, grants, and student loans. But what many people don't realize is that cheerleading may also pay for some, or all, of your college tuition!

More and more colleges are beginning to offer cheerleading scholarships. Cheerleading scholarships come in many different forms, some offering only a couple hundred dollars a semester, and some paying full tuition. Cheerleading scholarships are available at colleges coast-to-coast, and, yes, even in Hawaii!

Remember to do your research on other financial aid options available to you, such as student education loans. While they should only be considered after savings, grants, and scholarships fall short, a student loan can be a good, low-interest way to pay for your college education, or to supplement that cheerleading scholarship.

 ALABAMA

Auburn University. Although they don't call it a “cheerleading scholarship,” Auburn cheerleaders receive a “stipend” that assists with tuition and fees. This stipend varies from year to year, but at time of printing, this stipend is said to be good for '$800 for the fall semester and $800 for the spring semester.'
